Modeling

Get inside of your users' heads

In order to develop usable systems, designers have to understand the users and the way they carry out thier job.

Modeling users means to get inside their heads and see what they expect from the system and how they behave in their organisational context.

Then a task analysis is needed. It is the description of how the user perform activities.

Simulating an outline, they start with the highest level task breaking it down into more detailed tasks.

Remember: user centred design always keep users' perspective.
